Smart Production provides multiple ways to manage and monitor the inventory of materials, parts, and packages.
You can save storage locations for all stock items in the software. Smart Production Cutting manages the location of stock plates and drawn remnants, whereas Smart Production Workshop manages the location of cut parts, cut remnants, and created packages. You can also specify the production location for materials. Additionally, Smart Production Cutting, Smart Production Work Queue, and Smart Production Workshop provide simple ways to monitor your inventory and move items to a new storage location.
The availability of these applications and functions depends on how you configure the Smart Production software. The parameters that you use give you the flexibility to configure the system to meet a wide variety of customer demands regarding the flow of stock material.
Definitions
Stock row/item
Refers to all the physical items in the inventory, such as cut parts, remnants, plates, and packages. One stock row can contain multiple similar items.
Stock material
Material in the stock to be cut, such as plates and remnants.
