Whenever you uninstall the SmartPlant integration software from a machine where SmartPlant Foundation is also installed, you must always uninstall SmartPlant Foundation before uninstalling other SmartPlant integration software.
Uninstall in this order:

SmartPlant Foundation

SmartPlant.NET software (Schema Component.NET and SmartPlant Client.NET, if present)

SmartPlant software (Schema Component and SmartPlant Client, if present)
When uninstalling one or more components from SmartPlant Foundation or HxGN SDx, if
any hot fixes have been applied all hot fixes must be removed before you can uninstall
the component. After the component is uninstalled, all hot fixes should be reapplied.
