Controlling Query and QFind
The Query and QFind methods retrieve objects from the database for each of the selected query configurations. Each query is performed separately, making it useful to see the data retrieved by each configuration. This query is not useful if it retrieves configuration independent objects, such as administration items, multiple times.

A user preference determines if each configuration query is returned to a separate list view or one for all projects.

Method argument 9 on the Menu and QFind client APIs can be set to force a single null configuration query for administration items. For more information, see QFindObject client API.
Controlling loading of the tree view
The Load Object client API has properties to control how objects are displayed in the tree view and how they behave if the create or query configuration changes. For more information, see LoadObject client API.
