The File > New > Graphic Reports command opens the New Graphic Report dialog box, where you can create a new graphic report definition to be used to display drawings.

Click File > New > Graphic Report.

Select a report type from the list, and click OK. The options available in this list vary.

Select the properties on which you want to report.

You can define search criteria for each property by selecting Click Me in the Criteria column and using the Criteria Definition dialog box.

You can allow users to specify search criteria for a row each time the report is run by setting the Prompt option to True.

You can specify how the items in the drawing are displayed by clicking Symbology and choosing options on the appropriate tab of the Define Symbology dialog box.

Since properties are not displayed when you run a graphic report, select only those properties for which you define criteria. Every property defined in the report must have either a predefined value for the criteria or be set to prompt you for the value when you run the report. If this is not the case, an error message appears when you attempt to save the report.

Click OK.

A system prompt appears asking if you want to save the changes you made to the graphic report definition. Click Yes.

Specify details for the graphic report, and click OK.
