The scheduler is responsible for determining which workflow steps have expired. Follow the instructions below to create a scheduler task to perform workflow expiration checks.

  1. Click File > Perform Expiration Checks.

    If an expiration checks scheduler task already exists, you are notified that the task already exists, and the task appears in the list view window.

  2. Enter a start date and time for the task. Click the arrow SchedulerTaskDownArrow to select a date from the calendar.

  3. Specify the number of times the scheduler task will run.

    SHARED Tip Set Resubmission count to -1 to run an infinite number of times.

  4. Specify how often the task will run. The Resubmission interval value is in milliseconds.
