To improve performance with relationships, Look Ahead counts all end 1 relationships in one pass and all end 2 relationships in a second, rather than making a trip to the database for each individual relationship.
Relationship Look Ahead times are grouped as one and the time is displayed against Show All Relationships. No individual relationship times are shown; however, edges report times individually.
In the example shown below, Show All Relationships displays the non-edge results using Look Ahead. The Show All Files result is an edge, and all the rest are relationships.
