We recommend that you implement CDW by creating your own custom CDW class definitions, interfaces definitions, and mappings specific to your organization or project. You can reuse the SmartPlant schema delivered with SmartPlant Foundation and extend it, as needed, to match your custom CDW schema. However, a demonstration model is delivered that you can use as a starting point and customize, as needed.
