You can access Smart Review from within SmartPlant Foundation in three ways:

Launching Smart Review from the 3D Viewer - In the , the Smart Review toolbar button
allows you to launch Smart Review with the same view of the model that is currently
shown in SmartPlant Foundation.

Launching Smart Review from the Shortcut Menu in a 3D Model - To display the 3D model in Smart Review, right-click the model in the list view and select View in Smart Review. In this case, SmartPlant Foundation does not attempt to manipulate the view or orientation of the model. Smart Review determines the initial view and orientation of the model.

Launching Smart Review from a Plant Item in a 3D Model - To display plant items, such as instruments or equipment, right-click the item in the list view and select View in Smart Review. If the plant item is contained in exactly one 3D model, the 3D model is displayed in Smart Review and the view is fitted to the plant item. If the plant item is contained in more than one 3D model, a list of the 3D models containing the plant item displays for you to choose which model to view. This command is available only for published plant items.

You can configure the methods FileSmartPlantReview and SmartPlantReview to:

Display a warning message before launching Smart Review from SmartPlant Foundation. By default, the warning message is turned off.

Right-click the method you want to update, and select Show Security Warning. By default, it is cleared.

Open Smart Review from the Web Client in a new tab. By default, Smart Review always displays in the existing SmartPlant Foundation window.

Right-click the method you want to update, and select Launch in New Browser Tab.

Launch Smart Review from SmartPlant Foundation in desktop mode. By default, Smart Review is launched in tablet mode.

Right-click the method you want to update, and clear the check box Launch in Tablet Mode.

You can launch only one session of Smart Review for each active session of SmartPlant Foundation. If you attempt to open a second Smart Review session from SmartPlant Foundation, the first Smart Review session is closed before the new one opens.
