The publish and retrieve mapping between the tool database and the SmartPlant schema is defined in the tool map schema file. Basic mapping is delivered with each authoring tool.
You can modify this mapping using the Schema Editor, which is optionally installed with the SmartPlant Schema Component. The Schema Editor also allows the SmartPlant Foundation administrator to edit the plant breakdown structure (PBS) in the SmartPlant schema. Authoring tool components include:
