Transmittal issue step

Used to identify a step to pre-expand the recipients when the workflow starts. It enables you to see who the recipients will be before you run a report and is only used in transmittal workflows on the issue step.

The Transmittal Issue Step box is only displayed when the Transmittal Workflow check box is selected.

Reassign to participant

The Reassign to Participant determines who a step is reassigned to if the workflow is trying to reject, or can’t reject, a step.

  • When a work step has no one assigned to it for work purposes when the participants are expanded, the step is then assigned to the Reassign to Participant.

  • If a step is rejected and it is in parallel or it has no rejection path set, it is not possible to move the workflow on. In that case, the step is also reassigned to the Reassign to Participant, so that they can action the step.

  • A step is not reassigned to a participant if it has a single success step and that success step is not a voting step.

Condition

A condition determines when you can put an object into the workflow.

Before an object can be attached to a workflow, the template must be related to an interface that is instantiated by the object (this is done through a drag and drop operation). The system tests against the condition if one is provided. If the condition is met, the workflow is attached.

No email

This option will disable all email notifications to the recipients associated with this workflow.
