Select the sub-configuration or project as the active scope that contains the objects to be merged up to the higher configuration.

Right-click the project, and click Concurrent Engineering > Merge on the shortcut menu, which creates a Merge Progress Notification item in the Notification List window.

Click Merge Progress Notification in the Notification List window to display the merge progress statistics in the Properties window.

For the duration of the merge, you can review the latest progress statistics by clicking Properties Refresh

When the merge completes, the failed items logging report is attached to the Merge Progress Notification.

Select the Merge Progress Notification item in the Notification List and click Show all files to view the failed items logging report.
