An activity return period is the expected duration that a deliverable will take to be returned from the originator once it has been issued back to them at a particular status code.

Click File > New > Progress > Activity Return Period in the Desktop Client.

Type a name and description for the activity return period.

Set the Activity return period details (see table below).

Click Finish.

Return Period
The number of working days for the return period duration.
Deliverable type
Used to link the return period to a particular deliverable type.
Return Status Code
Indicates the reason that a document is being returned to its originator and reflects an approval or rejection of the document.
Every step on a workpack (except the first step) is assigned a status code. (Status codes are set up in the Schema Editor.)
