It is possible to create templates which will provide the ability to quickly create workpacks.
Template definitions are carried out in the same way as workpack definitions (see Design workpacks) with the following exceptions:

Unlike a workpack which is identified by its progress reporting hierarchy values, templates will be identified by up to five properties are categorized. This may or may not match all or a portion of the progress reporting hierarchy.

Templates do not have plan details.

The Allocated Weighting, Override Allocated Weighting, In Replan Mode, Progress Updated, Include in rollup, and Deliverable Plan Frozen properties found on workpacks are not relevant to templates.

Templates can only be created for a specific configuration.
