  • All search criteria are optional.

  • The default value of Name is asterisk (*) which queries all the existing register documents.

  • When you perform a search using the * wildcard, the objects returned are limited to only those where there is some value for that property. Objects with no value for that property will not be returned. To include objects with no value for a specific property, leave the box for that property blank in the query form. For example, if you search for an object using Name = * and Description = *, your search results are reduced in number because the criteria specifies all objects with a name value AND all objects with a description value.
