Option
Description
Allow auto progress
Indicates whether automatic progress calculation based on time elapsed can be enabled.
Allow forecasting
Indicates whether downstream forecasting can be enabled.
Allow calculation override
Indicates whether calculation override can be enabled.
Pending days
Set a deliverable’s production step to Pending when forecast date is due in this number of days.
(A certain number of days before the plan or forecast date, the status of a production step is automatically updated to pending by the system. Pending days enables you to specify how many days before the forecast date the status should be changed.)
Rollup before midday
Indicates whether the calculation date during progress rollup uses the previous working day if the time is before midday.
Workpack weighting redistribution
Indicates whether the Budget Man-hour values for all deliverables in a workpack are to be automatically updated when the allocated weighting of the workpack changes.
Deliverable weighting redistribution
Indicates whether the Budget Man-hour values for all deliverables in a workpack are to be automatically updated when the weighting of the one of the deliverables in the work changes.
Non-working date action
Indicates what should happen when users attempt to enter a non-working date into a date field.
The options available are:
1. No Action (allow date entry)
2. Deny the date entry
3. Warn the user
Make rollup date official cutoff date
Indicates if rollups instigated manually should be treated as official cut-off dates by the system for reporting purposes.
If the Allow auto progress, Allow forecasting, and Allow calculation override options are not selected, then it will not be possible to select them in the workpack. If they are not also selected on the workpack, they cannot be selected on the deliverable.
Calendar
When entering planned, actual, and forecast dates for a deliverable’s progress, the dates should be validated against the system calendar. If a non-working day is entered, the system will warn the user depending on the Non Working date action system setting.
When automatically calculating dates, the calendar will determine work and non-work days.
A calendar must be selected for each configuration (that is, each progress option). This allows regions that may have different working days or national holidays to set their own working days.
