Publish a work package - SmartPlant Foundation - IM Update 48 - Help - Hexagon

1. Click Find > Work Packages.

2. In the Find Work Packages dialog box, type the work package name or type "*", and click OK.

3. Right-click the selected work package, and click Publish/Export > Publish Tags.

   When publishing work packages, you can enable the ExcludeIndirectTagRelsIfNotPublished option on the WPTagPublishMethod to exclude publishing indirect tag relationships when indirect tags do not exist in the CDW domain.

4. Type your user credentials, and click OK.

5. In the Publish dialog box, select appropriate values from the Owning Group, Revision Scheme and Publish Type lists.

6. From the Operation list, select Publish, and click OK. When the work package is published successfully, a message box lets you know that the publish operation was successful.

From SPO/E Core 2014 R3 onwards, you can publish multiple work packages by repeating the same steps. To select multiple work packages, press the CTRL key when you select the required work packages.

To publish the work packages in the background, select Background Publish from the Operation list.
