You can use this option to generate thumbnails for files that are available within a selected directory and sub-directories.

In the Thumbnail Rendition Pre-Processor section, select a UNC file path from the Base Directory list.

Type a File Pattern to filter the files that match the search criteria for processing.

Select one or more check boxes from the existing file types list to process the selected file types.

To generate thumbnails for all the existing file types, select All File Types (Except SmartPlant File Formats) checkbox.

The thumbnails for unsupported SmartPlant file formats (.igr, .pid, .sha, .sma, .zvf ,and .zyg) can be generated by running the document discovery task.

Click Preview to view the files that are to be processed in the Progress tab.

In the Progress tab, select the check box beside the File Name column and click Start Processing to create the thumbnails for the selected file.
To delete an already generated thumbnail for a file, select the file with Already Processed status, and click Delete Pre-Processed Files. This enables the Start Processing button.

Click the Summary tab to view the file processing summary.
