The Perform Task step appears in the To Do List for the Assignee assigned to this step in the workflow.
As an Assignee, you need to first either accept the task or reject the task. If you reject the task, the task goes back to the Originator for re-allocation. To reject the task, right-click the Perform Task, and click Action > Reject, and then type any comments for the step.
If you accept the task, you need to work on the task, and update the task's status. You can also attach files as documented evidence for task completion.
After you have completed the task, right-click the Perform Task step in your To Do List, and click Action > Completed, and then type any comments for the step or messages to the recipients of the next step.
The Perform Task step is then removed from your To Do List.
