Navigate to Smart Community for sample ELFs of ADMIN_SPO, SCHEMA_SPO, USER_SPO, and WORKFLOW_SPO spreadsheets.

We recommend that you create a backup copy of the original spreadsheets before making any modifications to them.

You can modify the DATA_SPO.xlsm to create new originators and disciplines.

Create originator codes

The following example shows you how to create a new originator code, “AB” for “ABB-Global Engineering” organization using the DATA_SPO.xlsm file.

  1. Navigate to Smart Community for sample ELF of DATA_SPO.xlsm file. For more information, see Find sample data on Smart Community.

  2. In the Originator Codes sheet, add a new row in the SPXOriginator section, and in the Name column, type the originator code. In this example, type [AB] in the Name column.

  3. In the OriginatorDrilldownTop column, type the UID of the list to which these originator codes are related. By default, the originators are related to Originator Codes list. In this example, type [SPXOriginatorDrilldown_Originator_Codes] in the OriginatorDrilldownTop column.

  4. In the Description column, type the description of the originator. In this example, type [ABB-Global Engineering] in the Description column.

  5. In the UID column, type the UID of the originator using the [SPXOriginator_Originator code] format. In this example, type [SPXOriginator_AB] in the UID column.

  6. Click File > Save to save the spreadsheet by renaming it as DATA_SPO_CORE.xlsm.

Create discipline codes

The following example shows you how to add a new discipline, “Marine Engineering” using the DATA_SPO_CORE.xlsm file.

  1. Navigate to Smart Community for sample ELF of DATA_SPO.xlsm file. For more information, see Find sample data on Smart Community.

  2. In the Discipline Codes sheet, add a new row in the SPXDiscipline section.

  3. In the Name column, type the discipline code. In this example, type [H] in the Name column.

  4. In the DisciplineDrilldownTop column, type the UID of the list to which this discipline code is related. By default, the discipline codes are related to Discipline Codes list. In this example type [SPXDisciplineDrilldown_Engineering_Discipline_Codes] in the DisciplineDrilldownTop column.

  5. In the Description column, type the description for the discipline. In this example, type [Marine Engineering] in the Description column.

  6. In the UID column, type the UID for the discipline using the [SPXDiscipline_Discipline code] format. In this example, type [SPXDiscipline_A] in the UID column.

  7. Click File > Save to save the renamed spreadsheet.
