A pipeline can be created automatically during rollup of line segments or manually from a line list record. A pipeline can also be created because of retrieving a Smart P&ID drawing on which the pipeline was published.
The following procedure describes how to create a pipeline manually from a line list record.

Click Find > Line List > Line List Records, and search for the line list records that you want to add to the new pipeline.

Right-click a line list record, and click Create pipeline.
Multiple line list records can be associated to a pipeline based on the Fluid Code and Sequence Number properties.

In the Pipeline details section, in the SPFLLAOriginator and SPFLLAVendor boxes, type the originator and vendor data, as needed.

Click Finish.

A pipeline can contain any number of line list records, but a line list record can be associated with only one pipeline.

Pipelines must contain at least one line list record.
