You can open the items in the Desktop Client from the results grid view, as well as from an access control diagram. You can either send a single item or a group of items as a paged query to the Desktop Client.
To open and view your selected results in the Desktop Client, click one of the following options on the main window toolbar:
Open page in SmartPlant Foundation Client - Opens all of the items displayed in a single paged query in the Desktop Client.
Open selected items in SmartPlant Foundation Client - Opens a selected item or a selected set of items in the Desktop Client.
If your selection contains any duplicate objects in a query, only a single instance
is shown in Desktop Client.
