Menus are used to group various actions performed in SmartPlant Foundation Client. Menu items (actions) can be created for each toolbar menu specifying the action to be performed, the method to be used, and other related properties. To create a new menu:

Click File > New > Administration > Menu in the Desktop Client. The New Menu form is displayed.

Type a Name and Description for the menu.

In the Display As box, type the name that will be displayed on the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client toolbar.

In the Menu sequence box, type a sequence number for the menu.
Sequence numbers define the position of the toolbar button on the toolbar going from
left to right.

Click Finish.
You may need to re-launch SmartPlant Foundation to display the new menu.
