You can create a new column set to define a custom view of an object when displayed in the list view window.

Click New > Administration > Column Set in the Desktop Client. The New Column Set form is displayed.

Type a Name and Description for the column set.

If you want to use the column set with the List Edit control, select the Column set has been enabled for list editing option. See List editing for more information about the List Edit control.

Click Finish.
Once the column set has been created, column items can be added to it.
