Watermarks and labels may be applied to printed documents. Labels are pieces of text written to the header or footer of the document or drawing, and watermarks are pieces of text overlaid across the entire documents.
The watermark and label definitions are created as objects in SmartPlant Foundation and then related to the document to either the master or revision. The printing software then reads these objects and processes them. To assist with a relationship, navigation and abstract relationships are defined and specialized at the document master and revision level.
Details of the properties and functionality exposed by these interfaces are given in the sections that follow.
