To redirect the delivered SmartPlant Foundation API entry point functions to appear in the search bar so you can enter search criteria, the template file RedirectToSearchBarSPFAllEntryPointsUpgradeTemplateFile, attached to the template document, RedirectToSearchBarAllEntryPointsUpgradeTemplateDoc, is delivered and accessible through the Desktop Client. For information on how to access the template document and load the file into the system, see Enable new functionality and features using template files.
In this template document, the Redirect To Search Bar property for most of the delivered API entry point functions has been set to True.
If you have any API entry point functions customized for your system, you need to
manually set the Redirect To Search Bar property for those API entry points. For more information, see Update an API Entry Point display.
