A feature to restrict the upload of unsupported file types was introduced in Update 15. In Update 23, some more file types were added. When upgrading from an update between 15 and 22 to Update 23 or higher, after updating your site, you must perform the following procedure to include the additional file types.

In Server Manager, select the primary site node, and click Settings > RestrictedFileExtensions property.
