Check in the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file - SmartPlant Foundation - IM Update 47 - Installation & Upgrade

You need to validate the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file prior to checking it in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client. This file is delivered at Smart Community. For more information, see Find sample data on Smart Community.

Check out the upgraded CMF file

1. Log on to SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client.

2. Click Find > Integration > Schema Documents.

   You must be logged on to SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client with a schema administrator role to access the commands on the Integration menu.

3. Right-click the schema document, CMF_Ver, and click Edit > Check Out. This checks out the EF Schema.cmf and SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml files.

You must check out the CMF_Ver file to the folder as specified in the SiteSchemaLocation property of the SmartPlant Foundation Server Manager.

Validate the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file

To validate the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file delivered with SPO/E Core, manually replace the checked out SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file with the modified SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file.

1. Click Find > Integration > Schema Documents.

2. Right-click the schema document, CMF_Ver, and click Launch Schema Editor.

3. In the Set Active Configuration dialog box, select the latest SPF schema configuration from the check box, and click OK.

4. In the successive dialog boxes, click OK or Yes, as applicable.

5. Click Tools > Schema > Validate > Display Results. Wait until the modified SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file is validated.

6. Click File > Save All Modified Files.

7. Click File > Exit to close the Schema Editor.

If you have made any modifications to the SCHEMA_SPO.xlsm file delivered at Smart Community, regenerate the SCHEMA_SPO_Integration.xml file from the modified SCHEMA_SPO.xlsm file using the SPO SANTA utility, and then manually append the regenerated SCHEMA_SPO_Integration.xml file contents with checked out SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file. You can regenerate the SCHEMA_TAG_Integration.xml file by following these steps:

1. Launch SPO SANTA.

2. On the Browse tab, click Browse to locate and open the modified SCHEMA_SPO.xlsm file.

3. Select Integration from the Solution list.

4. Click Generate LoadFiles.

Check in the updated CMF file

1. Click Find > Integration > Schema Documents.

2. Right-click CMF_Ver, and click Edit > Check In.
