Search for the documents with attached files that you want to compare.

Select the two documents in the Results table.
If you want to compare files from documents that are difficult to find with a single search, see Compare files attached to different documents.

Click Actions > Compare Documents.

If a list of files appears, all the retrieved results are returned in pages in the Select a file to view window. Select the two files you want to compare.
The two files appear side by side in the browser.

See the files superimposed in one view
The superimposed view is generated automatically in the middle pane with each file appearing in the left and right panes.
In the middle pane, shared graphics are colored in gray, graphics appearing in the right file are colored in red, and graphics appearing in the left file are colored in blue.
See just one of the files
Click Settings on the toolbar in the pane, then select Full screen to view the file in full screen mode.
Print one of the files
Click Settings on the toolbar in the pane, then select Print .
The superimposed view in the middle pane cannot be printed.
Align the graphics of the two files
Use the buttons on the nudge tool to scale, rotate, or translate the graphics until the two files are aligned.
Zoom in or out of a file
Each pane has controls to zoom out or in:
The three panes are synchronized so that they maintain the same zoom level and graphics alignment.
