You can disable a peek search request for individual entry points, even if the peek search number of characters has been configured. This can help performance by avoiding multiple peek search requests by users for object types that could have a significant impact on the server.
You can disable the peek search request value for each individual API Entry Point as follows:

Find the Entry Point for which you want to disable peek search, and select Actions
> Update.

Select the Disable peek check box.
