If you have the Windows Firewall turned on, you must add an incoming rule to allow connections to the port.

In the Windows Control Panel, click Windows Firewall.

In the Windows Firewall dialog box, click Advanced Settings.

In the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security dialog box, right-click Inbound Rules, and click New Rule.

In the New Inbound Rule wizard, make these selections as you work through the wizard:

Specify local ports, with the port value specified when you installed SmartPlant Markup Plus Server. If you chose a non-secure port, that port value is 8080. If you chose a secure port, which is the default, that port value is 8443.
