You can configure SmartPlant Markup Plus using initialization files. You can create new initialization files, customize the SmartPlant Markup Plus initialization file, or do both. Initialization files must be imported into SmartPlant Markup Plus. If you are importing more than one initialization file, name each file spm[n].ini, where [n] is a number representing the order in which the files will be applied. See Import custom initialization files for steps on importing initialization files and Precedence of multiple custom initialization files for importing multiple initialization files.
All settings defined in these initialization (.ini) files can be overridden by information passed from external applications, such as Directa.
