The following changes have been made to the SmartSketch Drawing Editor.

Hot Fix and Service Pack Updates

Version 13

  • The AutoCAD translation configuration file (itacad.ini) and the MicroStation translation configuration file (itmstn.ini) are delivered to the [Product Folder]\Common2D\RAD2D\bin folder when you install the Translators option.

  • You can turn the display of layers on or off in Sketch 2D by right-clicking and then selecting or clearing the layers on the context menu. See Sketch 2D Best Practices. (P2 CP:333714)

  • Updated the steps for placing a manual view for non-shell plates. See Place a Manual View for Non-Shell Plates. (P3 CP:356938)

  • Added information about the Place Label QAD PlaceLabelQAD command. (P3 CP:359047)

  • You can now automatically place either Driven or Driving dimensions for step values or for values you type in a ribbon field to draw a geometric element. This enhancement eliminates having to manually change to driving dimensions each time you draw an object and improve productivity. For more information, see General Tab (Options Dialog Box). (CR-IT-51201)

  • With the new Place Offset and Dimension command, you can quickly place multiple stacked or chained lines that are offset at a driven dimension value from a selected line. SmartSketch Drawing Editor automatically inserts the dimension value for each placed line, and you can easily edit the value to change the line location. For more information, see Place and Dimension Offset Graphics. (P3 IM: 59276)

  • Added the OLEFRAME variable, which enables you to show or hide borders in auxiliary graphics. See Image Border in Configuration File Settings for AutoCAD Translation. (P4 IT:60307)
