When multiple documents are open, you can switch between documents. Only one document at a time, called the active working document, can receive input.
To switch between multiple documents, do one of the following:

If you can see a portion of the document that you want to switch to, click its window.

On the Window menu, click the document you want to work in. The document is displayed on top of other open documents.
