  1. Open a document with a .sym extension.

  2. On the Symbol Authoring Tools toolbar, click Symbol Properties Symbol Properties.

  3. Click the Attributes tab.

  4. Click an attribute in the attribute list.

  5. Click the Remove button. The software deletes the symbol attribute.

To use this functionality, you must install the Symbol Authoring option.
