A clamped shoe support uses the Shoe and Pipe Clamp/Block Clamp SmartParts. The Shoe and each Clamp SmartPart are single components. A Shoe with Clamps is preferred over a basic Shoe support if one of the following conditions is met:

A delivered clamp is needed.

A part selection rule is required to select the clamp separately from the shoe.

The clamp must have a separate line in the support material list.
