The Shear Lug weld attributes have similar behavior and functionalities as the other frame weld attributes. For more information, see Weld Excel sheet design in Welds.

Each rich hanger beam shear lug support can only have a single weld.

Weld Connections

For each weld added in the weld table, there is a respective connection key that specifies the connection of the weld. The connection key is related to the cardinal point of the steel cross-section as shown below.

Weld Locations

Each connection has one predefined location that is directly on the cardinal point of the cross section: 2. You must define the location as cardinal point 2, otherwise the software does not create the weld.
