For example, every 6 hours, or every day.

To create a Simple schedule:

  1. Select Simple from the Schedule Type option list.

  2. Enter the repeat interval in the the Repeat Every box.

  3. Select the unit of time for the repeat interval.

  4. Select Save.

Simple schedule and DST

If you are in a DST (Daylight Saving Time) time zone:

  1. Select the Use Calendar Hours checkbox. This checkbox allows you to control the scheduling pattern on the days the times are shifted.

For example, if an event is scheduled to happen every 12 hours (6am and 6pm), on the days the times are shifted for DST, the event will still happen at 6am and 6pm instead of 7am and 7pm or 5am and 5pm (depending on the direction of the change).

  2. Select the applicable option from the the Nonexistent Times option list. The selected option controls what happens to the scheduled events that fall on a nonexistent time on the days the times are shifted.

For example, the time shift in the United States happens at 2am. On the shift forward day, the 2am hour doesn't exist (1:59am to 3am). If you have an event scheduled for 2am (for example), select one of the following options from the Nonexistent Times option list:

    • Skip Nonexistent Times - This event isn't added to the schedule. The event is skipped.

    • Choose Earlier Time - The 2am event is shifted to 1am. All proceeding events happen in their normal time slots.

    • Choose Later Time - The 2am event is shifted to 3am. All proceeding events happen in their normal time slots.
