The initial state for the Incident Management workflow. In the Preparing section, add in a Title, the Date of Incident, and select whether the incident is defined as an Incident or a Near Miss.

Only the Incident Initiator role is required to continue. |
Additional information can be added, but it is not essential to the progress of the incident.
Once all the required information is complete, use the ACTIONS pane to select either:

Save to continue logging the incident. The workflow state changes to Preparing-Drafting.

Discard to cancel the incident or near miss. No further action is required.
