The Performance Information page supplies certain performance information which may be useful in diagnosing issues. It provides the following information:

  • Site Name: The name of your j5 system.

  • Server Mode: The mode of your j5 system - Single Mode, Master Mode, or Slave Mode.

    • Single Mode - When your j5 system is running one process only.

    • Master Mode - This is the main process when your j5 system is running multiprocess (the server which performs database writes and runs the scheduler).

    • Slave Mode - All the other processes when your j5 system is running multiprocess.

  • Process Affinity: Displays the CPUs that are available for the process to run on. Process affinity is often switched on in multiprocess mode when your system is using Virtual Machine infrastructure to prevent Python multi-threading performance issues.

  • Memory Usage: Displays the current memory usage for this j5 process, the maximum memory available to be used, and the remaining memory available for process growth.

  • Current Threads: A list of all the threads currently running in the process.

The performance of j5 may be negatively impacted if you have antivirus software running on your j5 server or user machines.
