The network architecture for a j5 instance can vary from client to client, depending on system architecture and client's preferences and requirements.

We recommend that the system administrator prepares a separate server for the j5 Staging, j5 Production, and the j5 Database servers. However, the same database server can be shared by the j5 Staging and j5 Production servers. The system administrator can choose to use physical servers or virtual servers for this setup.
