Sign into the Active Directory as an Administrator.

Select Tools in the Dashboard and select the Active Directory Users and Computers application.

Right-click on Managed Service Accounts and then select New > User.

Complete the details for the j5 service account:

Enter a User logon name (for example, j5-application-dev).

Enter your Domain (for example, @full.domain.name). Use the domain account that the j5 Windows Service runs on.

Select Next.

When prompted to set a password:

Enter a password (remember to save it elsewhere in a secure place).

Clear the User must change password at next logon checkbox.

Select the User cannot change password checkbox.

Select the Password never expires checkbox.

Select Next.

Verify the entered information and select Finish.
