The j5 Work Instructions application manages the planning, scheduling, and completion of work instructions. This application has two modules, namely Work Planning and Work Instructions.
Work plans are created and scheduled in the Work Planning module. Here supervisors and managers can define what work instructions need to be completed, how often they need to be completed, and who is responsible for their completion. Work instructions that only need to be completed once can also be created in the Work Instructions module.
Work instructions can be detailed and completed on the built-in work instruction form, a Default Form for the work instruction’s area, or on a work instruction form designed for a particular category or task. These forms are linked to work plans or are used as needed when adding work instructions in the Work Instructions module.
