The j5 Work Instructions application supports the planning, scheduling, and completion of work instructions. This application is comprised of two modules, namely Work Instructions and Work Planning.
Work plans are typically created and scheduled in the Work Planning module. Here supervisors and managers can define what work instructions need to be completed, how often they need to be completed, and who is responsible for their completion. When a work plan is released for work, a work instruction is created in the Work Instructions module according to its defined schedule.
Work instructions are completed in the Work Instructions module. Here users track the completion and outcome of each work instruction. Work instructions that only need to be completed once can be created in the Work Instructions module.
