Sets options for splitting planning joints in the model. The ribbon displays automatically after you click Split Planning Joint .
Select planning joints to split
Select one or more planning joints to split, either graphically in the active window or through the Workspace Explorer.
Select splitting objects
Select one or more reference items to split, either graphically in the active window or through the Workspace Explorer. The software checks that the selected items intersect the references.
Method
Select the method of offset from the selected splitting objects to be used to position the split-point location. The direction of the connection, as evaluated by the software, can be one of the following: None, Longitudinal, Transversal, Horizontal, Vertical, or Girth. If the software determines the major direction to be horizontal, then the Vertical option does not display; conversely, if the software determines the major direction to be vertical, then the Horizontal option does not display. To locate the global direction, the software projects each connection trace along the main axis.
Offset
Specify an offset distance from the selected splitting objects.
Finish
Processes the Split Planning Joint command and commits the changes to the database.
Reject
Cancels the select set.
Accept
Validates the select set.
