Note

Within a document

Click the gear icon and select the +item icon to create a new statement.

Uses quick add to enter text, build variables, and define the Statement Type and Role.

Additional information such as More Details, Attachments, and Training Details can only be added to your statement after you save and re-edit the statement.

Content is built into your document as you create statements.

Outside of document using the statement editor

Click Menu and select Statements.

Click Create new statement.

Uses the statement editor to enter text, build variables, and define the Statement Type and Role.

Additional information such as More Details, Attachments, and Training content can be added to your statement at once. The 'Sequence is critical' check box may also appear.

Statements that are created outside of the document, must be added to your document later.

Additional information:

  • More details - Provides supporting information when completing a statement. The text is hidden from view and the users see it by clicking 'More details'. When in edit or review mode, it is expanded by default so that writers and reviewers do not miss it.

  • Attachments - Provides area for attachments such as, diagrams, flow charts, or pictures within your statement. You can see the attachment(s) by clicking View. The file opens directly within the statement. You can also click the attachment name to open the attachment in a new window.

  • Training information - If training content is added in the Training section, it can be viewed by users only in the training outputs and not within regular content completions. It can be reviewed by writers while in Edit mode and by Reviewers during reviews. Training must be enabled by AcceleratorKMS.

  • Sequence is critical check box - Indicates that the statement must be performed prior to remaining steps in the content. So that the person completing the content is aware, a note displays in the text area of the step.
