If the user clicks the Edit Geometry button in the GIS Feature Attributes panel and the feature layer/feature service has been configured to support Geometry Updates; the application will display a toolbar containing Undo, Redo, Use my Location, Cancel and Save buttons. All vertices of the selected feature will be shown with the ‘active’ vertices displayed as a red dot. When the user taps an active vertex to select it and drags the vertex to edit its location; the user will then be able to Save the edit or Undo the edit. The user may press the Cancel button at any time to stop editing Geometry and dismiss the toolbar.
Users will have the opportunity from this panel to choose to create a corresponding
EAM equipment record for the new feature. The attribute mapping records configured
for each layer from the EAM toolbar in the ArcGIS Desktop application will be used
to create the new equipment record.
