The condition of a part inside HxGN EAM will vary throughout the course of its useful life. This is particularly true of parts that are often repaired or refurbished and placed back into the field.
In addition, certain verticals like oil and gas may have regulatory requirements that stipulate only certain conditions of parts be used on critical equipment.
For these reasons, part conditions are introduced into HxGN EAM v11. In this release, customers will have the ability to track the different conditions of their parts at the Store, Bin, and Lot level. In addition, inventory price and core value will also be established at the part condition level.
