Hexagon products use the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 to support encrypted communication between the application client and the server. Additionally, encryption is enforced on the server, so no unencrypted connections can be made by any client applications. Hexagon achieves this encryption through using a Certificate supplied by Corporate IT, which is installed on every server.
