Setting up site-based configurations - Intergraph Smart Licensing - Version 14.2 - Help - Hexagon

An IT or licensing administrator sets up configurations in the Licensing Portal.

Client users load configurations in Smart Licensing Client. Both site-based and project-based configurations are loaded in the same way. For more information, see the Smart Licensing Client documentation.

1. Select Generate ISL Key.

2. Create a keystore, and select Create with site-based default configuration.

3. Add products, and generate the key.

4. Download the CCI file, and distribute it to licensing clients.

You can generate the keys for the keystores before or after downloading the CCI file. The more common situation is to generate the keys before downloading the CCI file. However, you might want to pre-configure the computers and then generate the keys once the projects actually start. In this case, you would generate the keys after downloading and distributing the CCI file.
