Split the entire pipeline

Select Tools > Automatic Straight Split Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Auto Straight Split on the Tools toolbar.

Select Whole Pipeline in the Split list.

Type the length value in the Length box.

In the Using list, specify whether to use a Weld or a Coupling to break the pipeline, and then click to display the Select New Material dialog.

Select the item code to use, and then click OK.

Click OK on the Selection ribbon to apply the splitting process.
Split a section of the pipeline

Select Tools > Automatic Straight Split Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Auto Straight Split on the Tools toolbar.

Select Selection in the Split list.

In the Graphics window, select the pipe leg to split.
The software displays a flag to identify the start point of the split.
To move the split start point to the other end of the pipe leg, select Toggle flag on the Selection ribbon.

Type the length value in the Length box.
